Reverie for International Quilt Study Center

Reverie was commissioned for the International Quilt Study Center by the Duncan Family in honor of their mother Betty Duncan. The IQSC building was designed by Robert A. M. Stern Associates and is a part of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

“Reverie” is made of powdercoated steel and stands 11.5 feet high x 26 feet long x 20 feet across. The sculpture contains 5 chairs inviting the viewer to enter the work and remain inside experiencing the light and shadow play across the form that is as much space as it is material.
